Electrical Interferences Phenomenon - Are You A Slider?

Slider /ˈslʌɪdə/ - noun -

  1. A knob or lever that is moved horizontally or vertically to control a variable, such as the volume of a radio.

  2. Street light (or lamp) interference also known as an electric person, called this because street lights go out when they are around

I have a history of being a slider. I began doing my own research as an adult recognizing that not everyone had the same issues with electronics that my sister and I had.  We grew up in a home where electronics always had issues. As did our local street lights.  We just thought that was the way things were. It was only as an adult I really put the connections together to realize that it was us that was affecting the electronics.

I remember teaching a large class at a local college that involved multiple rooms with music playing and if I was angry the music would suddenly change. The CD that was playing or the radio would have the sound of interference as I walked by.  Students would joke about what kind of dental work I had as it became too obvious to ignore. I finally had a realization that the equipment upsets at work happened the most when I was nervous or angry.  Since then I have talked to many people who experience sliding and have come to understand more about it.

My brother-in-law works with electronics for a living and has some fancy equipment that measures voltage and resistance in a much more sensitive way than a typical voltage meter.  I was visiting with him and we ended up discussing how he experienced painful shocks when my sister touched him. He also pointed out that he would'’t let her anywhere near the remote for his television.  Although we were laughing about it, the fact is that the phenomenon that my sister and I have experienced can be uncomfortable and expensive. I asked him if any of his equipment could measure a person’s electricity and we began experimenting. My sister and I had very different levels of energy readings than he did.  In fact, if one of us touched him, our energy readings balanced into normal ranges so we now jokingly call him our ground wire.

He let us know from our informal research that our energy can both push and pull the electrical current. We can both transmit energy to electrical systems and pull energy back to us from those systems. I wanted to know if our electrical field pulled in energy from people and he confirmed that the numbers did not reflect that, thankfully.  We have also used other equipment and developed theories as the energy seems to be held by the person’s energy field, sometimes called a biofield and or aura.

I have come to understand that this phenomenon does help in healing sessions. I can literally pull in a lot more energy and amplify the energy when working on someone.

My sister and I feel supercharged, alive and amazing when there is an electrical storm, however, other Sliders have reported the opposite effect for them. Each Slider is unique.

Many people report only having an effect on street lights but also having computer trouble that is “unexplainable” or only happens when they are the ones using the computer. Other reported anomalies include:

  • Watch batteries failing

  • Setting off smoke detectors or batteries draining quickly.

  • Phones having all kinds of trouble

  • Disabling credit card and hotel key card magnetic strips

  • Regular lightbulbs flickering and burning out

Sometimes I feel painful shocks when touching other people or touching metal— this means the person I touch is also feeling a painful shock.

Slider phenomenon happens in a cross-section of the population, genders, across all nationalities and sexual orientations.  Sliders appear to have increased intuition and psychic abilities.

Theories on why a person is a Slider:

Perhaps you or your parents suffered a near-death experience, electrical shock or may have been struck by lightning.  More research is needed on this.

Ways a Slider stop interfering with electronics:

If for example, if you are experiencing computer issues, take a moment to step away from the computer. Intend that any and all negative energy run down your arms out your fingertips to the ground before returning to work on the computer again. Intention is very powerful.

Other tools:

  • Learn ways to observe, process, and release negative emotions, limiting beliefs, and negative self-talk. Many Sliders have seen a clear connection to strong emotions influencing the effects of the phenomenon.

  • Find ways to do excellent self-care and reduce stress.

  • Learn Reiki and Quantum-Touch® to help you balance your energy field and reduce stress.

  • Do some form of meditation—the benefits of meditation for calming and healing are well researched.

  • Engage in yoga & breathing practices for being in your body and wellbeing.

  • Try essential oils such as Myrrh for grounding, calming the parasympathetic nervous system, and enhancing your connection to the earth.

Many Blessings,

April
